Refund Policy
Last updated 27 August 2026
14 days, no questions asked. If you subscribe to a paid Reverie tier and ask for a refund within 14 days of the charge, you get it. That applies to your first payment and to a renewal you didn't mean to keep.
The short version
Email us within 14 days of any subscription charge and we refund it in full. You don't need a reason, and we won't ask for one. We chose 14 days because it fits the product: subscriptions are monthly, so a 14-day window covers half of the very period being refunded, and it matches the withdrawal rights consumers already have in much of the world. It is a real window, not a technicality.
Why it's this simple
Reverie's free tier is genuinely usable — unlimited recording, your own Drive for sharing — so nobody has to pay to find out whether the app works for them. If you did pay and it isn't what you wanted, keeping your money would be the wrong outcome for both of us. A refund policy with traps would say something about the product we don't want said.
How to ask
Email [email protected] with the email address you used at checkout, and if you have it, the order number from your Paddle receipt. That's all. Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record, so the refund is issued through Paddle back to your original payment method — expect it to appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
What happens to your hosted files and your recordings
Your recordings are always yours, refund or not. The original of every recording lives on your own machine, and free-tier sharing goes through your own Google Drive — none of that involves us, and none of it is affected by a refund in any way.
A refund ends the subscription, so videos hosted on our storage follow the same path as any ended subscription: your links stay live for 30 days, then the hosted files are deleted. If you want to keep sharing a video after that, you still have the original — share it from your own Drive, or host it anywhere you like. Nothing you made is ever lost.
After the window
After 14 days, a charge is generally not refunded — but we're a small operation run by a person, not a policy engine. If something genuinely went wrong — you were charged in error, a bug made the paid features unusable for you, or your situation is otherwise unfair — write to us anyway and explain. We read everything and we err on your side.
Cancelling instead of refunding
You can cancel any time, no refund needed: your paid tier keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for, and then the app simply returns to the free tier. It never stops working. Cancelling stops all future charges and starts the same 30-day grace period for hosted files described above.
Your statutory rights are unaffected
This policy adds to, and never subtracts from, whatever refund and withdrawal rights the law of your country gives you as a consumer. If your local law grants you more than this page does, your local law wins.
